We always get very excited about a new animated movie from those awesome people at Pixar (Toy Story, Monsters Inc., WALL-E), and this summer’s new Pixar movie is no exception. Brave is Pixar’s first Celtic fairy tale, set in Scotland in a rugged and mythical time where stories of battles and legends have been passed through generations. Merida, a skilled archer and the impetuous daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor, is determined to prove her worth. When she ignores an age-old custom sacred to the Lords MacGuffin, Macintosh and Dingwall, Merida inadvertently causes controversy and chaos in the kingdom. Merida turns to an eccentric Witch for help, but she is cursed and must discover the meaning of true bravery and undo the spell before it's too late. The voice cast includes all-star British names such as Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Robbie Coltrane and Julie Walters.
